VERSIONS OF THE WEB

 WEB 1.0

-Web 1.0, also referred to as the Read-Only Web,  encompasses the early days of the internet, roughly from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s. Think of it as a digital library where information was primarily one-directional, flowing from creators to consumers.

WEB 2.0

-Web 2.0, known as the second stage of the internet, is described as the wisdom, people-centric,
participative, and dynamic web.

WEB 3.0

-Web 3.0, also known as Web3, is the third generation of the World Wide Web. Web 3.0 is meant to be decentralized, open to everyone (with a bottom-up design), and built on top of blockchain technologies and developments in the Semantic Web, which describes the web as a network of meaningfully linked data.
